The Am-Lock is made of strong nylon webbing (5,800 lbs. breaking strength) with heavy-duty hooks on each end. It attaches to any serrated tree stand blade. To use the Am-Lock, place one of the hooks on the back side of the blade, bring the strap around the front of the tree, place the other hook on the back of the other side of the blade, tighten the strap by pulling on the loose end, then ratcheting until tight. When attached in this manner the Am-Lock securely fastens the platform to the host tree. You simply cannot remove the stand until the Am-Lock is released.
