2008 AMACKER PO-JO STICK

   

          The PO-JO Stick is three steel four foot pieces.  At 5 lbs per piece, it is a lightweight climbing stick used primarily with TIMB-R-LOCK stands. The PO-JO Stick is an alternative to tree steps or conventional ladders. To provide the hunter with quick access to a stand, the three sections fasten to the tree with webbed nylon straps as you climb. The PO-JO Stick does not penetrate the bark of the tree and therefore is a good choice for hunting in areas where screw-type supports are illegal. Due to the PO-JO Sticks light weight, it is extremely manageable and portable. A four-foot extension for the PO-JO Stick is available to increase the total height to 16 feet.

Where It All Began - The Trailer Hitch Idea

Our trailer hitch accessories sprang to life as a result of a trailer accident that Joe Amacker had coming back from a trade show in Indiana. Joe and his crew had been traveling and pulling an enclosed trailer for about four hours when they decided to stop at a coffee shop in the middle of the night for a break. The crew noticed there were some young people hanging out in the parking lot at the time, but didn't think much about it.

Later, Joe and his crew returned to their truck and trailer to continue their trip home. Shortly after getting back on the road, the enclosed trailer came loose from their truck and flipped over in the middle of the interstate, destroying the trailer but fortunately did not hit any other vehicles or injuring anyone. Joe and his crew concluded that the hitch pin and clip that holds the trailer receiver that the trailer ball is mounted on was missing and while not 100% certain, the only thing that could have happened was either they did not install the hitch pin and clip correctly (although they had already traveled four hours before stopping), or perhaps the people in the parking lot had removed the hitch pin thinking they were playing a joke. While no knows for certain what happened, that trailer accident made Joe's innovative thinking begin! He wanted to come up with an idea that could prevent this kind of trailer hitch accident from happening again. 2 years to raise money for operating the ballpark and local charities. The softball tournament attracts such celebrities as Tim McGraw's wife Faith Hill, Country singer Martina McBride, and Green Bay Packer's quarterback Brett Farve.
